Join us for the first in a Viticulture Workshop Series of visits to the Peake Ranch Vineyard.

During four visits throughout the year, we will follow the annual stages of grapevine growth and development from dormancy to harvest. Along the way we will learn a bit about how grapevines grow and apply our knowledge in the vineyard. The goals are to have fun and gain insight into the activities in a vineyard.

The series begins January 20, 2024 at 9:30 am with a discussion of pruning principles. Why do we prune? We will gather at the Peake Straw Bale House for an educational session and then move to the vineyard for hands-on application – pruning shears in hand.

Workshop includes wine and a picnic lunch. Membership discounts apply when booking with membership associated email. Limited seats available.
