Auditions will be held from  10am to noon on Saturday, April 16 

at PCPA’s rehearsal studios in the Columbia Business Center*. Please arrive at 9:45 to fill out paperwork. The actors will be seen in the order they arrive.

Callbacks will be on Monday, April 18 in the late afternoon/early evening.

Young performers should prepare approximately 60 seconds of a song from a musical. The song must be memorized. Please bring sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided.

Seeking: The von Trapp children   We are seeking all races and ethnicities.

·  Friedrich (looks 13-15)

·  Louisa (looks 12-14)

·  Kurt (looks 10-12)

·  Brigitta (looks 9-11)

·  Marta (looks 7-9)

·  Gretl (looks 5-7)

All six children must be strong singers and good movers.

The von Trapp children are very large roles. They will be called to almost all of the rehearsals.

This is a big time commitment. Actors who are cast must be available for all rehearsals and performances of The Sound of Music (May 31 – July 31) All rehearsals and performances will take place in Santa Maria, CA. The Sound of Music performance schedule can be seen here

PCPA produces in adherence to Actors’ Equity Association guidelines and Covid safety protocols, and, therefore, we may need to inquire into young performers vaccination status.
