SYV Botanic Garden - our first nature walk was amazing and we are excited to team up with Bryant and Forest Watch for another on on Tuesday June, 21st! Join in this great opportunity for a guided nature hike through the garden!

Learn about local plants and wildlife on a walk-and-talk with Los Padres Forest Watch conservation director Bryant Baker, a naturalist who specializes in the area's unique chaparral and coastal sage scrub ecosystems. Learn some of the basics about local shrubs, trees, wildflowers, and other flora and fauna, including tips and tricks for identifying them. Bryant will also discuss how these species and the ecosystems in which they're found cope with wildfire in the region.
