Santa Ynez Valley Presbyterian Church is hosting “Safety Town”

For children going into or coming out of kindergarten.

The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday, June 24-27.

Safety Town is a miniature city built to scale for kindergarten-age children to practice safety skills. The purpose of Safety Town is to provide children an opportunity to evaluate “safe” from “unsafe” while learning over all safety practices.

Through crafts, songs, guest speakers and other age appropriate activities, participants learn about pedestrian, bicycle, school bus, water, fire, earthquake and home safety. Safety Town serves as an opportunity for children to practice handling “real life” situations.

Registration forms may be picked up at the church office or downloaded from www.syvpc.org. Cost TBD
