The Homestay program offers you the opportunity to give your family a first-hand introduction to Danish Culture by sharing your home and local community with a Danish Student.

Santa Ynez Valley Union High School and Niels Brock College, Denmark’s largest business school, has signed an agreement which allows 28 best students to experience a semester at SYHS.

The students are between 15-17 years old. The cohort arrives at the beginning of February and departs in June 2023.

Homestay hosts will be paid $800 per month, and are expected to provide a bedroom for the student(s) and meals at home. Hosta are expected to help students arrange transportation to and from classes and activities at Santa Ynez High.
