Danish author Anna Eckhoff will be at the museum to discuss her life and book, "A New Beginning: Life on the Frontlines" on April 7th from 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

At the age of 56, Eckhoff left her career as an IT manager to pursue her passion for travel and service. Putting her accounting skills to work, Eckhoff first joined the Danish Refugee Council in their work in Russia. From then on, she spent many years working at variou NGOs on the ground at the front lines of many world conflicts. She returned to Denmark at 71 to work on her book.

There will be a 30 minute meet and greet with the author followed by the presentation. Copies of the book will be available for sale at the event. Wine and light snacks will be available.
