The Solvang Danish Days Foundation is accepting applications for the 2024 Danish Maid through Friday, March 25.

Applicants must submit a letter of interest about their Danish family history, past participation in Danish Days, and what the honor of representing the festival as Danish Maid would mean to them.

Preference will be given to a candidate who will be a high school senior during the fall of 2024.

Applicants must be willing to commit to making local special appearances, including the entire Danish Days weekend and three local parades — Fourth of July, Julefest in December, and during Danish Days weekend.
