The SYV Grange is excited to announce a collaboration with Apples to Zucchini Cooking School and Chef Bethany Markee for cooking classes in our kitchen starting in July!  You can sign up for one class or a series.

Batch Cook Classes For adults and teens 14 and up, will meet second Sundays from 2 pm - 3:30 pm.  Batch cooking means that the students will be cooking ingredients that the chef has gleaned or obtained from the local farmers.  Simple and efficient prep as well as use of different techniques will be taught. The students will be able to take home all the food that they cook/prepare.

Batch Cook Classes For adults and teens 14 and up, will meet second Sundays from 2 pm - 3:30 pm.  Batch cooking means that the students will be cooking ingredients that the chef has gleaned or obtained from the local farmers.  Simple and efficient prep as well as use of different techniques will be taught. The students will be able to take home all the food that they cook/prepare.

Celebrate this year’s Julefest as parade floats and entries travel along the village streets on this Saturday morning beginning at 11:00 AM. Marching bands, horses, and more! Catch 400+ participants and 50+ contingents as they stroll and cruise down Solvang’s main avenues. Don’t miss this chance to bring more hygge (Danish coziness) to your holiday season, and an opportunity to meet Mr. Claus, post-Parade.

Los Olivos will host its annual Olde Fashioned Christmas event on Saturday, December 6, 2025.

This festive occasion typically includes holiday lights, live music,
roasted walnuts, hot cocoa, cookie decorating, and free photos with Santa.

This year’s theme: DIS-GLEE! A magical celebration of Disney songs.

In this popular 20-Session workshop, students will spend time cultivating their voices. Each year, students work together to pick a group of popular (and age appropriate!) songs to learn and practice. By the end of the workshop, they will have learned a number of songs and set them to dance moves. The students get to display their talents in a performance for the community on March 28 at 7:00pm.

Valley Glee is for students in grades 2-8 and runs from October-March. Don't attend one of the listed schools? No problem! Valley Glee is open to all students! Just choose the site and time that works best for you and your student.
